Dry Ice usage & CO2 Shortage.
Apologies to all our customers for the temporary change in service.
Due to (believe it or not) another CO2 shortage in the UK our suppliers have placed a 500% surcharge on our Dry Ice supply which unfortunately we are unable to afford.
This situation has happened before and was temporary – lasting for approximately 3-4 weeks. We are unsure as to how long this shortage will last but in order to keep our service running we will supply the goods to you in the same way but replacing the dry ice with gel packs (many of our competitors already use this method) . The food will be sent out frozen and in most cases will remain so, either way the food will still be perfectly safe to put in your freezer immediately after removing it from the parcel.
To help ensure the food reaches you at it’s optimum quality we will be upgrading orders over £60.00 (which is free delivery) to a by 12 o’clock service and recommend that you remove the food from the box and store in your freezer as soon as it arrives.
- If you are one of our many Histamine intolerant customers we will email you when the service with dry ice is resumed.
