Scallops are best defrosted before cooking. Then heat a large skillet or frying pan to high heat, add a dash of oil and a knob of butter, once melted add the scallops to the pan mirroring a clock face, start at 12 o clock and slowly add scallops clockwise. We recommend this way for ease as once you get back to the first scallop you placed it will be ready for turning. Scallops only need 2 minutes each side as long as your pan is hot enough. If you like garlic, ginger and chilli add these to the pan too although it’s easy enough to add you favourite herbs / spices.
Scallops King (Roe-less) – 750g
Our King Scallops are large with a minimal water glaze so they do not shrink when cooking, they are NOT pumped full of water just natural King Scallops with the roe off. Cook in a hot frying pan or griddle and place the King Scallops at 12 o'clock like on a clock face and place around the pan turning after 2-3 minutes once they have some colour. Super tasty fast meal, add some garlic, chilli and ginger for a little kick.
