Defrost overnight in the fridge or for few hours at room temperature. Once defrosted add a little butter and a sprinkle of salt & pepper. Grill the Plaice under a medium hot grill for approximately 8-10 minutes. You can also shallow fry. Fry skin side down first until the skin gets lightly golden / crisp edge ( about 5 minutes) then turn over and grill flesh side down for another 5 minutes until cooked through ( a little longer if you like your plaice to have crispy edges / browned top) be sure the plaice is cooked in the centre and is white ( not clear) before serving.

Plaice Fillets, 5-6oz each and IQF (individually quick frozen) lovely white fish with the skin on (some have dark skin & some have white skin). Our Plaice Fillets are sustainable from the North East Atlantic, area FAO 27. They are BONELESS and great care has been taken to remove the bones but as with all fish, the odd bone may remain. We recommend to defrost the Plaice before cooking and simply add a little salt & pepper ( see cooking instructions for more detail).
