OVEN BAKE FROM FROZEN: Haddock Loins are best oven baked, from frozen. Pre-heat your oven to 180c, place the Haddock on some foil, with a little salt & pepper, butter and any herbs you like ( use enough foil to make a loose parcel). Crimp the edges of the foil together so the steam can’t escape but make sure there is plenty of room, not a tight parcel. Bake for a total 25-30 minutes. If you prefer to defrost your Haddock first reduce cooking times by 5-10 minutes. Rest for a couple of minutes. Make sure Haddock is cooked through and hot in the centre before serving.

Very popular at Seafresh, white, thick loins of Haddock (much thicker than fillets) make a great alternative to Cod and also recommended for histamine intolerance customers. This flavourful frozen fish is very versatile and easy to cook. Cook from frozen, oven bake at 180c, make a foil parcel (not too tight so the fish steams perfectly) or oven proof dish and bake for around 30 mins.
