We recommend to defrost before cooking, either overnight in the fridge or for a few hours at room temperature. Once defrosted, heat a little oil in a pan, heat until very hot, so hot that the Marlin sizzles when added to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes each side, until the fish is cooked through and hot in the centre. Let the fish roast for a minute or two ( it will continue to cook) – then Serve with taco’s, pitta breads, flatbreads or your favourite salad / vegetables.
*Also as good source of B6 /B12 and selenium, eating Marlin once a week along with Omega 3 rich fish such as Salmon, Mackerel & Sardines is recommended for a balanced diet. White fish tends to be lower in fat than Salmon.
